Our Story
Pearly Whites is a family-run practice on Munster Road, owned by Dr Lia Melconian and her husband Grant Goodstein, who live a fifteen-minute walk away.
Why we bought the practice
In 2025 we took over the dental practice at 247 Munster Road, then called Perfect Smile Fulham. We bought it with one clear vision: to deliver the best patient experience in the country.
We came to it from two different directions. Lia is a dentist, who trained at King’s College London and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and caring for nervous patients. Grant spent his career in technology, in San Francisco, Los Angeles and London, including at Twitter, building teams and looking after customers.
Our neighbours
This practice serves our community, and we’re part of it. We walk fifteen minutes to work and back every day, and many of our patients tell us they’ve spotted the two of us on our morning commute, holding hands.
We see our patients in Tesco, out to dinner around Fulham and walking the Thames Path. They aren’t appointment slots to us; they’re our neighbours.
That’s why we feel an obligation to give our neighbours the absolute best care and experience we can.
What we changed
We rebuilt the practice from the ground up. It looks and feels different now: calm and welcoming rather than clinical, with warm colours, art on the walls and somewhere comfortable to sit.
The way we look after people changed too. You’re greeted by name, your appointments aren’t rushed, and we show you what we see on screen rather than just telling you. We recommend exactly what we’d recommend to our own family, with no pressure, and we keep as much of your natural tooth as we can.
And we pay everyone who works here the London Living Wage or more, because the people who look after our neighbours should be paid fairly.

The people who look after you
Lia leads the clinical team as our Principal Dentist, alongside our associate dentists, hygienists and therapists, and the practice team who greet you at the door.
In 2026 the practice was a finalist in six categories at the Private Dentistry Awards, including Practice of the Year, Team of the Year and Patient Care. We’re proud of that, but prouder of what our patients tell us.

Whether you’ve just moved to Fulham or you’ve been coming to 247 Munster Road for years, you’re very welcome. Your first visit is a new patient examination for £49 (usually £79), including routine X-rays.
