Acrylic dentures
Our most affordable option, for complete or partial dentures. Acrylic is easy to adjust, and a partial acrylic denture can usually have teeth added if you lose more later.
Flexible dentures
Partial dentures made from a flexible material, with gum-coloured clasps instead of metal ones, so they’re discreet, lightweight and comfortable.
Cobalt-chrome dentures
Partial dentures on a thin, strong metal framework. They cover less of your mouth, feel lighter and less bulky, and fit very precisely, so they’re often the most comfortable and longest-lasting partial denture.

Immediate, digital and implant-retained dentures
Immediate dentures
Fitted on the same day your teeth are removed, so you never have to be without teeth while your gums heal.
Digital and straight-to-fit dentures
Designed from a 3D scan of your mouth instead of messy impressions. Straight-to-fit dentures go straight from your scan to your fitting, with no separate try-in appointment, and your saved design makes them easy to remake.
Implant-retained dentures
Your denture clips onto a small number of implants, so it stays firmly in place when you eat, talk and laugh.

Your treatment
Getting your new dentures
With immediate digital dentures, this can be as few as two appointments. Complete and cobalt-chrome dentures sometimes need a few more, so they fit perfectly.
Consultation
Your dentist checks your mouth and gums, talks you through your options and costs, and plans your dentures with you.
Scan or impressions
We take a 3D scan or impressions of your mouth, and record how your teeth bite together.
Try-in
For some dentures, you try them in before they’re finished, so you can see how they look and ask for changes.
Fitting
Your finished dentures are fitted and adjusted for comfort, and we show you how to put them in, take them out and look after them.
Review
We see you again once you’ve had time to get used to them, and make any adjustments you need.
Looking after your dentures
Keeping your dentures comfortable
Clean them daily
Brush your dentures every day with a soft brush and a denture cleaner rather than toothpaste, which can scratch them.
Give your gums a rest
Take your dentures out at night, and keep them in water or a soaking solution so they don’t dry out.
Handle with care
Clean them over a bowl of water or a folded towel, so they won’t break if you drop them.
Regular check-ups
Your mouth changes over time, so dentures can loosen. We check the fit and your gums, and can reline or repair your dentures when needed.

Questions
Denture FAQs
How much do dentures cost?
Partial acrylic dentures are from £825, partial flexible dentures from £925, complete acrylic dentures from £1,095 per arch, and cobalt-chrome partial dentures from £2,195. PearlyPlan members save 10%, or you can spread the cost with 0% finance.
Which type of denture is best?
It depends on your mouth and your priorities. Acrylic is the most affordable, flexible dentures are discreet with no metal clasps, and cobalt-chrome is thin, light and precise. Your dentist will recommend what suits you.
How many appointments will I need?
As few as two with immediate digital dentures. Complete and cobalt-chrome dentures sometimes need a few more, so they fit perfectly.
Can I have dentures fitted on the day my teeth are removed?
Yes. Immediate dentures are fitted on the same day, so you’re never without teeth while your gums heal.
My dentures are loose. Can you help?
Yes. We can reline your dentures so they fit snugly again, or, for the most secure fit, make a denture that clips onto implants.
Are dentures cheaper than implants?
Yes. A partial denture from £825 can replace several teeth at once, while implants are from £3,295 per tooth. Dentures need no surgery and can be ready in as few as two appointments.
Can I upgrade to implants later?
Often, yes. Many dentures can be adapted to clip onto implants later, and full arch implants (All-on-X) can replace a complete denture with fixed teeth.
Will it take time to get used to dentures?
Usually a few weeks. Eating and speaking can feel different at first, and we’ll adjust your dentures if anything rubs or feels loose.
How should I clean my dentures?
Brush them every day with a soft brush and denture cleaner, not toothpaste, take them out at night, and keep them in water so they don’t dry out.
Can you repair a broken denture?
Yes. Call us, and we’ll repair it or advise you on replacing it.
